Ashley is a freelance lighting cameraman with over 20 years experience in Broadcast Television Production.

He started his career in Factual programming in the mid-’90s and in 1998 moved to London to work for the Factual department at Tiger Aspect Productions.
After a couple of years working for an equipment hire facility he went freelance gaining invaluable experience working on some fantastic documentaries across the world.
He has worked on a mixture of 16mm film, tape and now solid-state acquisition, from Entertainment to Drama doc and Factual/documentary programs and in environments from jungles in Borneo and Madagascar to the deserts of the Kalahari in South Africa and Kuwait.
Ashley has Camera supervised a number of multi-camera productions and alongside his usual broadcasting commitments has worked on a number of high profile 360 / VR projects and recently qualified as a Commercial Drone Pilot.
