I have over 20 years broadcast experience as a lighting cameraman on documentary and factual entertainment programmes for BBC, ITV, C4, C5, Sky, and Discovery. Filming in the UK and abroad, working on a variety of camera formats from Alexa and Amira to Sony F5, F55, FS7, FX9, A7S, and Canon C300 and fully equipped with PMW500 and FS7 camera kits and lighting.

Confident shooting observationally with available light or working with a more stylised and lit approach for more scripted factual programmes. Used to working under pressure, with presenters, and in difficult, demanding situations. I am based in SE London and Kent.
While my broadcast lighting cameraman work keeps me busy in the long summer days, I rely on corporate work during winter.

As a DOP, I’ve shot party political broadcasts at Prime Minister’s private offices in the House of Commons, followed Rt Hon David Cameron and conservative politicians on the campaign trail, got stranded on a ship’s maiden voyage in Italy when filming solo, shot a series of interviews with members of Margaret Thatcher’s old cabinet following her death, lensed some harrowing interviews with those who have suffered mental health issues, followed footballer Martin Keown for a McDonalds piece, filmed an instructional ballet video ‘Dance with the Flower Fairies’, with Lord Linley at Claridges, brought classic paintings to life with the use of green screen and a clever editor. I’ve filmed with Richard Hammond, Toyah, Clive Owen, Liza Tarbuck, Sally Phillips, Claudia Winkelman, Lauren Laverne, Vidal Sassoon, Alan Rickman amongst others.

In addition, I’ve been director of photography for shoots with Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC, TSB,Mastercard, Virgin Media, EDF, Specsavers etc
