Martin Cunningham | Sound Recordist, Sound, OB Sound Engineer, OB Sound Assistant, Boom Operator

Martin is a Sound Recordist, Boom Operator and A2 with over 20 years experience working all over the world in Film and TV. He has worked on many types of projects including Documentaries, Dramas, Films, Sports, Studio and Outside Broadcasts.

Although from Scotland I started my sound career in Australia in the late 1990s working for Channel 9 TV and Fox Sports in Sydney, NSW, before getting a staff job in London for a couple of years.

I've been freelance again since 2002, moving back to Edinburgh, and have travelled extensively since then both professionally and for leisure.

For the last few years I have been heavily involved in sporting OBs, as well as PSC, including F1, ATP & WTA Tennis, European Tour Golf and UEFA Euro Football Championships taking me from Melbourne to Miami, New York to New Delhi.

I have a full PSC kit, a full UK driving license and I am an AMPS (Association of Motion Picture Sound) member.
