A BBC-Trained Self-Shooting PD, with over 20 years’ experience shooting high-impact material for major US & UK broadcasters and online content. Often the first boots on the ground, I can arrange and manage sensitive access, plan-shoot-direct your show and take it through the edit. Skilled in filming new and established contributors, I shoot all over the world and love getting stuck into challenging situations.
My work experience includes DEA, US Border Patrol, UK Border Force, Royal Navy. Oilfield, Marine Salvage, Commercial Fishing, Gold Mining. But I also know my way around a Gypsy Wedding Dress, have filmed Monkeys in Malawi and carried my camera up Kilimanjaro.
Trained in multiskilled TV Production from the outset, I started my career as a Researcher at the renowned BBC Asian Programmes Unit in Pebble Mill, Birmingham. That Unit made shiny floor shows, youth programmes, fashion films, and hard news documentaries. And from the very beginning, I’ve wanted to work on a wide range of programme formats and subject areas.
