Matt began his career in 2009 as a camera assistant, but with the emergence of the DIT role in the industry, he soon gravitated towards that role and after landing his first junior DIT position on location in Western Africa has never looked back.

A specialist in location based TV documentaries, entertainment and adventure shows, his roles have taken him from the frozen tundra of Alaska to the humid jungles of Borneo, with stops in Central and South America, Western Africa, Southeast Asia, the Australian outback and Northwest Scarborough along the way, with each place giving a new experience and an improved working knowledge. Perhaps, most importantly, that nothing quite beats a good cup of tea!
