Graduated NFTS with a Diploma in Location Sound Recording for Film and TV
Many years experience in film and TV as Sound Recordist, Sound Assistant and Boom Op. Location Sound Recording Tutor at the London Film Academy and MetFilm school Ealing Studios. Member of the Institute of Professional Sound, Member of The Association of Motion Picture Sound. All my own extensive kit, including multiple radio mic systems, lavs, timecode and comms etc..

I took a picture of the Nagra recorder during a shoot when I was a kid, the significance of which didn't hit me until 25 years later when I decided on sound recording as a career and was lucky enough get into the National Film and Television School, where I graduated with a Diploma in Location Sound Recording for Film and TV
I'm an experienced sound recordist with my own extensive kit, including lavs, booms, timecode and comms etc ... 12 + years experience. I'm a Sound Tutor at the London Film Academy and the MetFilm school on both Documentary and BA courses. Member of the Institute of Professional Sound, Member of The Association of Motion Picture Sound
I hold a current Enhanced DBS check and an OFCOM PMSE License for radio kit. I have a full driving license and know my way around all the commonly used cameras from Arri’s to Red and Black Magic and Sony’s etc. I have worked for the major producers including BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV, ITV 2 , Ch4, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Paramount +, CBS in Film, Drama, Documentary series, Television Commercials and News. Some of my work is online and on IMDB under both (Rod Hart and Roderick Hart)
