Location Sound Kit

I've spent three decades in location sound, over which I've put a lot of time and money into choosing what I consider to be the most reliable, lightweight and innovative kit on the market.

Zaxcom radio mics and the Zaxcom Nova make up the backbone of my everyday kit. I use Zaxcom ZMT4 transmitters, paired with DPA microphones. They are the smallest transmitters currently available and are often asked for by name by production and presenters.

Fully controllable from the mixer, which reduces any additional phaffing once they are on presenters apart from a battery change. They've got an onboard record facility with timecode, which is essential in today's squeezed radio spectrum. I've used them on travel and adventure shows over the years where presenters have been out of range of a traditional radio system, and have never been let down.
