Before venturing into sound for TV and Broadcast I was a sound engineer for music events. I ended up specialising as a monitor engineer looking after the sound on stage at various music venues, private parties and festivals. this involves managing lots of individual mixes for each band member on stage either with stage monitors or in ear monitors. this also regularly involved managing all of the RF for the show.

One of my highlights was working as the in-house monitor engineer on the John Peel stage at Glastonbury Festival.
