George Clarke is a British architect, television presenter, and writer, best known for his engaging property and design programs that have captivated audiences in the UK and beyond. His shows focus on innovative architecture, creative home renovations, and inspiring DIY projects, making them accessible and entertaining for viewers of all backgrounds. I have filmed both George Clarke’s ‘Remarkable Renovations’ and ‘Old House, New Home’.

Filming these shows requires technical knowledge in broadcast cameras, Drones and grip equipment like sliders and Gimbals.  The days can be busy but rewarding and the aim is to provide stunning images to reflect the work done by George and the team to make these properties so special.

As the DOP you have a great deal of creative control over the show so it’s very rewarding to see the input you have in making not only great visuals but also capturing the story and ultimately hopeful delight of the home owner.
