2023 ! Already a great start to the year shooting documentary films for BBC inc. the new Simon Reeve series “Wilderness”. These shoots in both Congo’s are the culmination of 19 years of working with Simon Reeve on his various global travelogue and documentary series. 2022 and now into 2023, I have been continuing my long run in Saudi with OR Media on the various Vision 2030 documentary series.
Throughout 2022 and into 2023, as well as shooting globally for a range of UK / US broadcasters, I have added to my various internationally recognised training standards / licenses. In 2023, I have added SFOC advanced Transport Canada drone certification, taken my 2nd FAA recurrent part 107 drone certification and updated my offshore oil and gas platform access training. This means I am fully qualified to fly drones commercially in the UK,USA, the EU26 and Canada. My OPITO BOSIET qualifications cover me world wide.
I also hold a 12 month long ATA carnet for all my equipment for deployment at a moments notice.
I consistently aim to work to the highest standards in every discipline. I believe I have excellent organizational and communicative skills, coupled with the ability to enthuse, focus and concentrate the attention of any creative team. This approach to my work has helped me successfully complete countless tough and diverse productions. Fully BBC HEFAT trained (last refresher in 2019) I have shot in 120 countries so far!
