The Worlds Greatest Secrets
Spiegel TV
Spent the last 2 days filming for German producers Spiegal TV at the world's deepest hotel - Deep Sleep. Situated 1500ft below Snowdonia in a disused slate mine, it features 4 cabins and a grotto carved into the slate. A very challenging assignment involving 10 hours underground in the pitch black whilst filming our guide Nick from adventure company Go Beyond. It involved wading through water filled tunnels, decending 100’s of feet using ropes, abseiling and sometimes having to crawl through restricted height tunnels on hands and knees but a fantastic experience that I would recommend. I certainly slept well last night! Due to the conditions I elected to take my Sony A7s3 camera for its low light ability and compactness.
