I was Film Editor on this feature-length documentary on artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, directed and produced by David Shulman, and winner of BAFTA TV Award 2018 (Specialist Factual), and shortlisted for RTS Award 2018 (Arts)

A hugely inspiring film about one of the most fascinating artists of the late 20th century, this was enormously fulfilling to work on, and we spent a lot of time working out dynamic ways to make Basquiat's painting come to life, using rather radical rostrum moves to highlight the many intriguing details in the work. Thankfully Janet Lee at BBC Studios and Mark Bell, the BBC commissioner were supportive throughout, and left us room to make the film we really wanted to make.
