I found my way into Sound Recording after a working in Music studios but longing to be doing it outside. I’ve always described it as a good mix of Sound Engineering and a previous summer job I had window cleaning on Dartmoor!

I now enjoy a wide variety of work from Island hopping in Panama with Bear Grylls, large scale reality shows in the Lake District to Marvel Films in various West London studios and most things in between.

I’m a keen hill walker and climber, absolutely love skiing and try to spend as much time outside and in the mountains as possible between jobs. Skills I’ve developed from these pursuits have helped me no end with outdoor and remote Location Sound Recording and I find it a real joy when I’m able to combine work and time in the wild.

I’m originally from West Devon but now spend my time mostly between London and the Westcountry.

I can supply Sound Recording kit for anything from a sit down interview to PSC shoots to full Dramas. Highly competent in large count radio mic shows with complex frequency plans, adverse conditions and mountainous terrain.
