Kindling follows a group of young men who return to their home town in order to turn their friend's final days into a celebration of life and friendship.

My Comments

When entering the film industry, my earliest aspiration was to work on independent, emotionally resonant films, like the works of directors Ken Loach and Mike Leigh. 'Kindling' represents the closest realization of this ambition —a story inspired by true events, following a young man's journey after a cancer diagnosis. The film focuses on his determination to ensure his final summer is unforgettable for those he cares about. Throughout the production, I forged strong connections with both the cast and crew, making the experience very rewarding.
