Richard Jay | Sound Recordist, Boom Operator

Richard Jay has been working in the Television and Film Industry for the last 30 years. He started his journey on the award winning TV show 'The Big Breakfast' on C4, as a technical floor assistant, and then worked his way up to a Boom Operator and then Sound Recordist. His first TV Drama was assisting Oscar Winner (The Empire Strikes Back) Peter Sutton, this was a fantastic, informative 6 months. Richard then was lucky enough to then work for Ian Voigt, Bruce Wills, Simon Bishop, Billy Quinn to name just a few, and been lucky enough to have filmed all over the world, with some of the best and renowned figures in the industry. Richard has over 50 IMDB Credits, and boomed every type of TV & Film production. Between all the Feature Film work, he has recorded sound on TV shows for all the main broadcasters here and worldwide.
