I was DoP on this fascinating series exploring Archaeological finds. My episodes were:

"The Lion Man"

The Lion Man takes Nina deep into the dark heart of Nazi Germany, where in a remote cave in late August 1939, archaeologist Robert Wetzel came across the 40,000-year-old artwork now known as the Lion Man. 

"The Minotaurs Palace"

Janina is in Crete on the trail of the millionaire who discovered the mythical palace of the Minotaur and the first western civilisation, but who is now mired in controversy.

"The Viking Ship"

Janina is in Scandinavia, investigating the lost thousand-year-old ship that transformed the fierce reputation of the Vikings and became a symbol of a nation's fight for freedom.

I had to use my travel lighting kit carefully is some fairly tricky museums and historical locations to light naturally and atmospherically.

I also used my drone extensively on all three episodes.

Shot mostly handheld, we also used my gimbal for several sequences.
