Documentary series in which Goldblum pulls back the curtain on a seemingly familiar object to reveal a world of astonishing connections, fascinating science, and a whole lot of big ideas. From filming on US Aircraft Carriers, Sneaker Conventions, to Surf Canoes in Hawaii we covered an awful lot of ground.

I was lucky enough to work as Camera Operator and Drone operator on this project. I was brought onboard by DoP Patrick Acum and also worked with DoPs Toby Wilkinson and Chris Openshaw. We shot on Red Geminis for their excellent capabilities in low light and slow motion. Often involved extended handheld takes of long conversations moving through spaces that had to be covered using two cameras working in harmony together.

In terms of Drone flying a highlight for me was flying over Jeff on a surf canoe in Hawaii as he rode the waves to shore. Also tracking alongside BMX riders in San Jose was very satisfying.
