Following the fortunes of a team of gold miners in the Guyanese Amazon. Part of a huge team of technicians spending 5 weeks in the most remote parts of Southern Guyana. Dealing with the punishing heat and humidity, which took its toll on both bodies and equipment, as well as a totally unscripted cast of twelve. We had the heaviest (daftest) sound bag I've ever had to carry - a Sound Devices 688, with 12 Audio 2040 receivers and two hop transmitters - as well as 2 x NP1 batteries!!
