2 days, 22 filming hours, 35xcontribs,14x experts,1xpresenter and 5 guests. all on 12 radio mics. Constant resets and rerigs.

That was a tough one. We had 17 setups Day 1 and 16 Day 2 All with a 30mins to rig the start of the day. 5x cameras, 3 in studio and pre and post interviews.

A single presenter, that was the one constant.

Every other radio mic and lapel were in a maelstrom of mic rigging by my assistant, and then derigged and made covid safe to be reused on a later part of the schedule.

This was more an exercise in mic management, where most of the prep work took place on the allocation of the mics on a spreadsheet, where both myself and assistant would know who was wearing which mic, and I KNEW definately which radio was walking on to set.

IEMs and self shooter frequencies all had to be taken into consideration.

I took 2 days setup to setup the Trolley, into a a multitrack record buggy, that had to hauled up a Leicestershire hill and locked away on site each night, so we could achieve the 30mins setup time.

But with an excellent crew, production and my assistant holding the fort, we busted it. Totally.
