Training

As a passionate advocate of continuing professional development I have both informally and formally trained and mentored many production freelancers and staff. I can develop and deliver bespoke training in all areas of production management as well as team management and negotiating skills.

Previous experience in this area has included:

● Developing a ‘Stepping Up to Production Executive’ course for Media Career Advice (due to be delivered Spring/Summer 2024).

● Developing and delivering a course for ‘Understanding Contracts for Production Management’ for Screenskills.

● Developing and delivering ‘Intro to Production Management’ training course for DV Talent (along with 2 other Prod Exec/HoPs) covering areas such as budgeting & scheduling, cost managers, legal & compliance, insurance, post production, foreign filming, crewing up and negotiating deals.

● Mentoring multiple individuals at different career stages to help develop their career path and grow in confidence as well as working on specifics such as writing effective CVs; interview techniques and how to negotiate their rate successfully.
