Freediving champion Jessea Lu nearly died during a world-record attempt. In this haunting documentary, she revisits the site of her near-death to confront the trauma of the abyss.

On this production, I served as a camera operator and drone pilot, providing the film’s essential visual bookends with aerial cinematography that established the scale of the environment in which the film takes place.

While initially joining the team in a technical support capacity, my role expanded into active camera operation, capturing key observational sequences. My work focused on ensuring the cinematography captured the atmospheric tension central to Jessea’s journey.
