A photograph can never capture the whole truth; but for two families on a collision course with history, one iconic image will reveal their deepest wartime secrets.

As camera operator, I provided critical support throughout the production in Canada and Vietnam, focusing on expanding the visual coverage through precise b-roll and complementary angles. My role was focused on maintaining the film’s intimate aesthetic while navigating the logistical challenges of filming in Ho Chi Minh City.

During the shoot, I also transitioned into the lead cinematography role for several days, operating the DJI Ronin 4D to capture stabilized sequences that required a seamless blend of mobility and cinematic depth.
