Utterly in love with the moving image from an early age, I trained as a film editor at the BBC and have been working in the cutting rooms for over 40 years. I have worked for National Geographic, Discovery, WNET New York, Smithsonian, ABC, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, ORF, NHK, Disney and YouTube Originals. My principal skill is editing feature length documentaries. I also write for the screen and occasionally direct. I'm also a Board Member of BFE (British Film Editors) and for the last 10 years I've been editing and writing for its biannual magazine, First Frame. Through my long form film reviewing as 'Camus' at Cineoutsider.com and my articles for First Frame, my passion for the moving image remains undimmed.
