Award winning D.O.P, Lighting Cameraman, with over 20 years’ experience filming broadcast television, corporate and branded content all over the world. Specialising in presenter led wildlife, science and children’s programs. I started my career at BBC Bristol learning production, editing and camera work. I assisted and learnt from some of the best DoP’s in the business. After honing my skills on different genres including wildlife, children’s, science and factual documentary I joined the world of freelancers. Travelling the world, working in extreme environments, I continued learn about different techniques and technologies. I have lived in Belize, Copenhagen and San Francisco working on various wildlife programmes as well as the popular Discovery series Myth Busters. I am skilled in many different camera and lighting techniques and I enjoy the challenge of a ‘difficult shot’. Whether it is shooting macro insects or branded content in a studio or wildlife or actuality in the field, I am adept in all situations.
